Vacancies are usually advertised and filled through interview by the Council’s Appointments and Promotions Committee.
LECTURERSHIP
For direct appointment, candidates are required to have first degree from a recognized University with at least second class honours and a certificate of National Service (NYSC) or its exemption certificate.
INSTRUCTORS CADRE
Candidates into instructors’ cadre are required to have Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognized polytechnic with at least lower credit and evidence of National Service or its exemption certificate.
ADMININSTRATIVE CADRE
Candidates are required to have first degree from a recognized University with at least second class honours (lower division) and a certificate of national service or its exemption certificate.
EXECUTIVE CADRE (GENERAL)
Candidates are required to have a Certificate/Diploma in Accounting & Audit or Public Administration. Those with Higher national Diploma (HND) are required to show evidence of National Service or its exemption certificate
ACCOUNTANT CADRE
Candidates must have BSc Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent at second class lower division from a recognized University.
LIBRARIAN CADRE
Candidates must have a B.L.Sc. degree from a recognized university at second class lower division and an evidence of National Service or its exemption certificate.
LIBRARY OFFICERS CADRE
Candidates are required to have at least a Diploma in Library Studies from a recognized institution of learning.
